Focus is a small Bristol-based accountancy firm specialising in supporting Contractors, Consultants and Freelancers, helping them save time in bookkeeping and financial management, backed by the peace-of-mind of using experienced qualified accountants. We’ve designed a streamlined accounting support service to meet the needs of independent professionals in a very personal, supportive and efficient way.




We deliver exceptional customer service. We include an annual review with our clients alongside unlimited phone and email support, where they are in contact with a qualified accountant.




Our service includes helping clients to streamline their administration by having the FreeAgent cloud software in the service. We have also developed tools, apps and information sheets specifically to support our target clients. We help with VAT returns, tax returns, year-end accounts, tax planning, forecasting, company secretarial work and much more.



We’re constantly looking for ways to save time for our clients. We look for ways to engineer time out of the accounting administration process, through streamlined data entry and automation. The use of FreeAgent enables our clients to save time so that they can spend more time making money and doing what they enjoy. Team Administrator

Job Type: Full Time or Part Time.

Salary: dependent on experience

Essential Experience: excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Flexible Working Options Available: By mutual agreement with flexibility, but will need to be within the boundaries of 8am-6pm Mon-Fri.


We are seeking a Team Administrator to join our growing Accountancy Practice team in Bristol. This role would suit you if you have strong communication, organisation and attention to detail skills. 

Your role is pivotal for the growing team as we need a meticulous and organised individual to take responsibility for supporting the internal practice team with all things customer service, admin, finding solutions - essentially you’ll happily turn your hand to whatever is needed to help the clients and team succeed.


Key responsibilities:

  • On-board new clients and welcome them to the practice providing admin support to the practice manager;

  • Assist in the general admin of the firm which will mostly include answering phone calls and emails or directing them to the appropriate person and scanning sensitive documents.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Great phone and written communication skills

  • Fantastic customer service personality where you’ll do what it takes to find an answer or a solution for clients and your team

  • Exceptional organisational skills and accuracy

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude

  • Desire to work in a small accountancy practice

  • An interest in IT and new solutions that we can use both internally and for our clients

  • Good IT skills, in that you are confident, willing and able to learn new platforms and IT solutions
